About the show: Mr. Mason’s Weekend Hotline is a podcast about a radio host running a mysterious call-in show with no number. Each episode features several callers calling in to the show to chime in regarding the topic of the episode. The mystery only deepens when a frightened scientist suddenly shows up in the middle of a recording. The man is horrified to find the studio has no exit.

Creator’s Character Description: Caller #3 calls in about a dream she just had featuring Mr. Mason. The dream involved a strange world of metal rooms with no apparent escape. She forgets to give her name and has a slightly unsettling aura, like there’s just something a bit wrong with her. She’s a bit sleepy because she only just woke up.

What do I like best about playing this character: Getting to be someone’s weirdo on the phone is a real treat, to be honest. I just got to get weird with it, do odd things with the cadence of my phrases, make it clear that I’m not really all there. It’s a fun little world to play around in.

What do I like least about playing this character: Playing a one-off character is a little sad, that’s all.
