About the show: Science Fiction/Mythic Fiction/Psychological Mystery. Cannot reveal specifics at this time! General description: Third Level is a ten-episode podcast set in a fractured world of corruption, surveillance, and authoritarian control. It’s a sonic descent into fractured identity, quiet resistance, and the emotional cost of integrity. Through grounded dialogue and surreal transitions, the story invites listeners into a mythic space where authority reshapes the individual.
Character Description: Mira has a meaningless job but takes it seriously. She’s smart and has a good work ethic, but she’s impatient and a little arrogant–until mysterious events take her for a ride.
What do I like best about playing this character: I like playing someone who’s driven and knows her talents, and getting to show that in my interactions with the other characters. It was also fun figuring out how to play her with more humility and gentleness as the story went on.
What do I like least about playing this character: The arrogance was tough to nail without going over the top, and as usual, some of the more emotional aspects (crying, screaming) are difficult to get good recordings of. She also sighs frequently and sometimes my recording equipment does not play nice with extra air.
