About the show: This project is a short narrative experience in which the audience members are observing two pioneers who are occupying an outpost planet, Aethel-9, awaiting the colony ship Arclight. The story covers brief segments of their time on the planet.
Character Description: Mila is one of two pioneers dropped to planet Aethel-9 to monitor planetary conditions and atmosphere stability.
What do I like best about playing this character: Exploring character interactions and their effect on the people involved is my favorite genre of media. This character has no one but her husband to bounce off of, and it’s refreshing to see characters so distinctly different managing to get along most of the time, but my character is allowed freedom of emotion and a variety of different situations to react to and incite–she is far from a one-note character.
What do I like least about playing this character: Nothing about her specifically, but as the role belongs to a portfolio piece, it’s sad that not many people will get to experience the story.
