On February 6, a director I’ve worked with before (on Dracula and Sleepy Hollow) asked me to consider joining the cast of her audio drama for Frankenstein. Are you sensing a theme about what kind of stories she likes?
The director of Quiet Pantheon Studios asked me to read for Lizzy, the love interest of Victor Frankenstein. I sent in some test lines from a script and I got officially given the role on February 11.
Honestly? Frankenstein was probably the only book I was assigned in high school English class that I did not finish reading. I disliked the main character so much. So it’ll be an interesting challenge to play the woman who loves him.
I have not submitted anything but audition lines because this project is on the back burner and has no deadline, but we’ll see if it picks up!
